What brand and model of monitor is it? Usually there is an auto config button that makes everything right. It is usually labeled Auto. If that doesn't fix it, press the menu button and see if you can increase the horizontal size and move it. If that doesn't work, take the monitor apart and reconnect the video cable that goes into the panel.
