Question about HP PhotoSmart 7550 InkJet Printer
I am having the same problem with my 7550 printer as tstockler, where the print cartridge slams into the right side and gives a message the cartridge cradle is jammed, clear and hit OK. Mine also started randomly, but is now a permanent problem and I can't even use the printer. If anyone has a solution, please advise.
Thanks!
I had the same problem with my 7550. I followed this shortcut and so far so good. Be real careful with the strip cleaning and don't use anything but a damp cloth. No solvents.

Cradle has "crashed" to left side of printer and gives error message to clear jam and press OK. No jam can be found Cradle moves a little but seems solid jammed. Problem was intermittant but now is solid failure. Can't see enough of cradle to see if there is a mechanical obstruction etc.
I have the same thing...cartridge cradle won't move at all.
