The people offering solutions in most part can fix the problems that other users post themselves What they cant do is take a novice and walk them through every stage of a job. There are some wowsers posted on this site which would take months to go through in email form. You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink!!!

Where can i find the contact point of the Toyota Corolla XL Model 1993 and how to change it?

there is a modification kit that is available from auto speed shops where the entire points plate is removed and a pointless system is installed . Check with e-bay for pointless distributor kits for your car or contact an auto parts shop

What do i do if i do not have points?

Points in a distributor?

Why would you ask that?

Points have been gone for over 40 years

You do the same thing we all have been doing,
preventative maintenance wise, for the last 50 years,
you just don't have points to play with, nothing has changed

Ford v6 carburated engine, pointless dist, ign module. eliminated key to a toggle and pushbutton but wont start when cranking over but as soon as let off button it will fire. voltage drop when cranking...

Did you just hook this up or was it working before? First batt voltage should not drop below 9.6v under load/cranking, second thing comes too mind is if your running a ballast resistor and where you have pos. wire for point less ignition-before or after ballast resistor alot of pointless ignitions want you to get the power before resistor so the ignition module has enough voltage to work with. also you can check voltage at coil during cranking to see- you need to be above about 7 volts or so. Also little known fact, if you have stater sol. on firewall/fender and you have second small terminal labeled "I" if you connect this directly to coil pos. it will apply full batt to coil during start only-by passing resistor.

I left my battery sitting for 7 days, is it completely dead? or a chance it could work ?

Since a new battery is likely to cost you $70 minimum I think that it's worth attempting to salvage the existing battery. Attempt to charge it, I recommend slow or trickle charging as it is less aggressive and has a better chance of restoring the batteries functionality. You can take it to most parts stores and have it load tested, but it would be pointless to do that until you attempt to charge it. Hope this helps.

Please rate my advise.

Saying egr insufficient flow...changed egr valve an 2 othr parts that i was told to change an now im hearing that was pointless...so i hear the best thing to do now is get the 2 ports that connect to egr...

most of the time just by cleaning carbon deposits from valve and the port where egr mounts. takes care of this problem. have a good one ! if electric check wires also, if vacuum check hoses.
