My left turn signal started blinking fast. I checked and the left front blinker light worked fine but the left rear blinker light did not work. So I went on the internet and found out how to replace the bulb. The bulb was burned out. I replaced the bulb. Then the left turn signal would sometimes blink normal and sometimes blink fast. I once again opened up the left rear tail light assembly to look at the bulb. It was okay. I pulled it and re-seated it.
The left turn signal still blinks fast. The left rear turn signal light does not blink at all. The left front signal light blinks very fast.
Any increase in bink speed is direcly related to a bulb being burt out.
It sounds like your bulb is fine but no power is getting to it. check if the brake light comes on as this runs on the same circut. If it does not than you have a wiring problem. Try cleaning the bulb contacts or use a meter to see if you are getting power. Also is your tail light working? If not the problem is probally a bad ground to the body.
