Question about Nokia N95 Cellular Phone
My phone does not want to read the memory card. It started to say remove memory card and press ok. sometime it read it not always noe it does nothing. What I did is reset, new firmware and format memory card with the phone when it could read it. Now phone says no memory card inserted and card is inside the phone. I tried with another card nothing happens. I think that is not the card but the phone with problems. Never taken the card out till now aprox 5 months use. All other functions work fine no problems. Shame phone is really good.
I have a Nokia N95 and I've recently changed the memory card but it says that I haven't got the memory card inserted when I actually have it in the phone. Though, when I put the previous memory card in, it works fine.

I had the same problem as u stated, i belive u trying a large memory card with a small amount suported phone, i will say if u trying to use a card of 2GB, in phone which can support only 1GB, then that phone will display the message u stated, but if u used the same capacity card with its phone support there should not be any problems

Bit of a long shot, but take the card out and clean the gold contacts with a pencil eraser (a hard eraser is best).
Make sure there are no bits of rubber on the contacts when you put the card back in :-)
Switch the phone off and push the cleaned card in and out a few times. Good luck.

hi thanks for using fixya!
Try to insert a new memory card, with a lower capacity. In regard with you unit, just make sure that your Nokia is original as you know there are so many fake units of Nokia N95 now adays, To install a new firmware, you should go to a Nokia Care Center, make sure that it goes with the warranty.
