Motorola Raxr VXX keys frozen except on/off button

i have the same exact problem! I never had a problem with my phone - had it for almost 2 years.

Now the only key that works is the on/off key and sometimes the red web access key. I can see calls coming in and the phone rings, messages sent to the phone come in, but I can't display them because none of the buttons work. Once in a while the screen gets into the text enter mode and random letters or symbols appear on the screen, mostly *,p,w, #

I called tech support and they tell me I need a new phone.

Any help would be appreciated.
