Problem for Motorola RAZR V3
Motorola Raxr VXX keys frozen except on/off button
i have the same exact problem! I never had a problem with my phone - had it for almost 2 years.
Now the only key that works is the on/off key and sometimes the red web access key. I can see calls coming in and the phone rings, messages sent to the phone come in, but I can't display them because none of the buttons work. Once in a while the screen gets into the text enter mode and random letters or symbols appear on the screen, mostly *,p,w, #
I called tech support and they tell me I need a new phone.
Any help would be appreciated.

- I tried the solution you suggested (battery in the freezer for 30 minutes and the phone without battery in a hot place - I put it in the sun for 30 minutes). As weird as it seemed at the time and as much as it looked like witchcraft - it worked instantly. Today is the 4th of July and the phone has worked since June 12 when I tried this. I don't understand why heating up the phone case did the job, but it most certainly worked. Many thanks - I saved a bundle of money and time.Best Solution

I took out the battery and stuck it in the freezer for a half hour or so, this worked, but only temporarily. then it would go back to the same status. After that, I took out the battery and left it under my laptop for a half hour (our laptop is always hot). This worked and my phone has worked perfect since then.
Verizon told me to get a new phone, too, but don't do it until you try this.
