My sharp aquos tv screen color gone and the colour settings is blocked and cant be used..what will I do to return its tv screen color

If the adjustments you need are blocked out either it is that something that is connected to the set for signal (cable box, sat box, receiver etc) is now in control or in some fashion you have locked out the option yourself--I would have a good look at the owner manual first and if that fails call sharp with the model number----if you recently hooked something new up to the set or moved set from one location to another it may have happened then.

Yamaha RX-V793 receiver shuts down when I turn up volume. Checked the speaker wires and they seem okay. I then hooked it up to an older DVD player I had and it works fine. Don't know if it's 5.1 bu

My first thought would be that when you moved the receiver to connect another DVD, the problem quit since the speaker wires moved. The best way to test would be to re connect the original unit the same way as the new unit and test again. If it still cuts out, disconnect the speaker wires and re test. if it still cuts out, try the new player and test again. if it does not cut out, there may be a problem with the old units audio output. Generally if its a problem with the receiver it would not matter what source you are using, even the tuner on the receiver, if there was a short in the receiver it would cut out. Let me know what your results are and I will help more if needed. Best of luck!

I am trying to hook up Netflix through my Wii and i can't seem to connect to my wirleless internet in my home. My computer's have no problem getting the Wi-Fi signal.

Reboot your wireless internet and move your Wii closer to the source of the wireless internet. Oftentimes the nintendo wireless receivers are far weaker than the wireless cards in computers or other wireless devices, so moving it closer should help. If this doesn't work, you can purchase a LAN extension for you wii and hook it up to the internet directly through a wired connection. Let me know if you need anything else.

Ive had it for a while now. went to set it up again after moving it to another room and cant seem to get the sound from the television, i believe this may be due to putting the wires in the wrong holes in...

"wrong holes"?

Get the manuals and read up on it. Try retrevo.com or ask us specifically for help finding them.

You don't want to arbitrarily be plugging things into places they don't belong.

You don't mention any models. Please do.

Then clarify what you mean by "sound from the television"...

1. Its own speakers? Audio originating where? It matters.
2. TV-related audio sent to the receiver via the TV and not heard?

I own a rca tru flat model 27F520T and the tv signal is via a starchoice statelite reciever. I recently purchased a Toshiba DVD SD7200. I am trying to view dvd's with the hook up to the statelite...

Try this steps
On the backside of your satellite receiver, you will notice a bunch of connections. If you already have your coaxial satellite cable connected to the INPUT on the receiver, leave it connected. Disconnect and remove the cable connecting the receiver to the television.
Grab your A/V composite wires and insert them into the Audio/Video OUTPUTS on the back of the satellite receiver. These are color-coded connections--red to red, white to white and yellow to yellow. The red and white connections are your audio feeds and the yellow is for your video.
Look on the backside of your DVD/VCR dual recorder. You will see similar connections. Connect the other end of the composite wires to the Audio/Video INPUTS on the DVD/VCR dual recorder.
With a second set of A/V composite wires, connect one end to the DVD/VCR dual recorder's A/V OUTPUT and the other end to the television's A/V INPUT. Again, be sure to follow the color code. Also, if your television has more than one available input, be sure to know to which one you made the connections (A/V 1, A/V 2, etc.)

Next, tune your television to the proper input channel. Look on the television's remote control for a button that is labeled "Inputs" or "A/V." Press it until you see the correct A/V channel appear on the screen. If you made your connections in A/V 1, then the TV should display "A/V 1" in the corner
.
Now, just turn your equipment on and settle back to watch your favorite show or DVD

Unable to hook the receiver up to the television

Mine used to work but I recently moved and think I connected everything the same way, but I'm having the same problem you are now and I'm just curious if you ever solved the issue? For whatever reason, I'm simply not seeing the Dolby Pro Logic, PL Movie, etc. modes. Just the standard Stereo, Arena, Theater, etc. modes. I'm connected to the receiver's optical audio inputs both directly from my cable box and from the TV itself, so I feel like I must just be overlooking something simple.
