Junk.....the white plastic handle broke off at the nut. Junk. Hey product engineers.....use your designs for awhile and you'll see that they have some flaws.

Ihave a Rival Stoneware Crock Pot with a glass lid that the plastic handle has broken off. It is model SCR509WM, type SC10 slow cooker.
can you help?

Yes, I need a new handle for my lid. Same model, 37601. My 2 year old grandson pushed it off the cupboard. Fortunately it was empty and not plugged in and he had just gotten on a step stool and he just pushed it off. Neither the lid nor pot broke, just the plastic handle on the top of the lid. I am willing to buy a replacement lid, but when I tried, it was out of stock.

My model number is Rival Crockpot SCR509-A my handle base next to the lid is cracked and i have not called the 1-800 number on the crock pot yet. I went on line to see if I could find crockpot parts.

I have one that has cherries on it and it has a matching smaller pot. My handle is also broken and I've been using pliers to open the lid. There is a telephone number on mine 1-800-557-4825 & it says www.crockpot.com. I went to the crockpot.com address and didn't find what I was looking for. I haven't tried the 800 number yet. Hope this helps

Have been trying to reach Rival Crockpot by phone. Imposible.. They are pretty 'Shifty' about turning loose of their phone number. I can see why they are that way.

Ran the top of the crock pot thru the dishwasher on top shelf - handles ALL came off. Next problem: Manual received with the crock pot from old "Wolfgang" VERY poorly written by the China engineers. Next time I can get old "Wolfgang" on line, will sure burn his ears.

My advice, don't buy ANYTHING on line - go to a store featuring the product you want so that you can actually SEE - TOUCH - and EVALUATE it. Why buy something to save a dollar that is substandard that you purchase on line because some showman has learned to demonstrate it and make it look good. Is he coming to your house to help you use it??????

I have had the same problem... contacted Rival and even a replacement lid was out of stock... was told to call back in 3 to 4 months... however, they did offer 25 percent off another crock pot. However, with the 25 percent off the price is still higher than a store.

My handle broke too. I saw replacement lids on the Crock pot web site but they were $10.00 thats almost what a new pot costs.
