samsung dlp will not turn on after a bad thunderstorm. The lamp and timer flashes. Just replaced the lamp and color wheel last month.

Thunderstorm will damaged the semiconductor such as signal diode, transistor, and IC. Check any shorted component in power supply section. You need Multimeter and basic component testing procedure.
