-   Motor not performing normally, runs slow and sounds labored. Also puts out an odor that smells like electrical problem. I assume that the motor has burned out. Is it practical for an owner that is "handy" to replace a motor on the Steamvac F5857?-   wada
Is the lid for the tank locked on all the way round? The filter on the underside of this lid should have a 1/4 gap from the lid to the top of the filter. Is the duct in place, front of the tank. Any of these will cause the problem.

When the unit heats up, steam no longer comes thru the hose or attachments, but starts pouring out of where the water goes in, despite the cap being on tightly. Help! I need to use my Steam Buggy!
