Trying to install a lexmak printer

Find out installation instruction/ information from manufacturer or dealer.

to download the driver from lexmak

Do a Google search for your printer model and the word "driver". Download the driver and install it. Then hookup the printer, turn it on, and Windows should give your prompts regarding what to do to finish the installation.

Just choose your operating system.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printerdoes not work on Vista, if you do not find any driver download for Vista on your model page, that means your model is not Vista compatible.

Good day.
Usually that happened once the printer was not set to default setting after it was installed.
To set to default, click start, choose printers and faxes, select the lexmak pinter, click file select default printer.

To test your printer if it print.
1. right click the printer icon
2. select properties
3. click print test page

Hi I m using Gigabyte GA-8I845GVM-RZ Motherboard USB drive is not working, printer, data cable, pen drive everying is not working but all the drivers are installed properly. Advise please. Arul selvan. M
