Mower blades not engaging

I ran over a piece of rope this mornign when I was cutting my grass. I got off of the mower and cut the entangled rope off of the blades. No more rope is left entangled around the blades, but when I crank it up and turn the lever to turn the blades on the lever turns but nothing happens. Now the mower will not cut grass and I do not know why

Sometimes it is due to the ETHANOL fuel you are using. ETHANOL is attracting moisture and after a while it builds up water in the tank.

Zero turn mower is sputtering and dies

Check everything is clean. Check the air filter is clean, check that the engine cooling fan, cutting blades and cutting deck are free of grass. Check all the drive belt pulleys to ensure accumulated grass is not jamming anything. Check the fuel filler cap is clean and the breather hole works.

I have a 1500 series Cub Cadet, 54 inch cut. I ran over a rope that wrapped around the blades shutting down the mower. I turned the mower off and removed the rope. I engage the PTO. I hear it click but...

put the rope back around the blades then go in reverse slowly, park the tractor where you found it prior to running the rope over, get off, shake your head a few times, then try it again, this time pick the rope up first! that should fix ya!
