SOURCE: tv wont turn on

Hello Charliebigwh, hi technically your monitor's power supply has a problem, this is either your switching regulator does not work or there is a short in that section, If you want to do it your self, need to replace all large value, and or high voltage capacitors(especially the capacitors with its top is bubbly), need also to replace the switching IC, and power transistor.

Have it checked by a technician if you cannot do the work.

SOURCE: totally dead. Vizio GV42L

If the circuit breaker was tripped, more likely the fuse inside the TV power supply might also be blown. If that is the case there might be a short circuit in the power supply components, more likely on a diode or transistor/mosfet.
Contact these website to see if they have the parts for your plasma.
Good Luck.

SOURCE: TV wont turn on with power button or remote

Try putting the cables back where they were. After that re-route them again but this time use the manuel.
If that doesn't work, consult the TV's manuel.

SOURCE: tv won't turn on

KLV-32/40U100M (Dead, no lights), Solution, either replace or remove U24 uP reset chip on top of board, by (SW-1) silkscreen, I suspect, this is the common failure with dead units. Recommend
replacing U24, but should work fine without it. Why pay more!

I have a palsonic model no: TFTV492LED and I can't change it off AV1. I want to put it on HDMI I have no remote either.

Try the front panel button labeled Source; it's the second button from the left. (The first button is the Power button.) All of the buttons are on the right hand side of the bottom frame of the TV. Use the Channel Up/Down arrows to navigate through the list of inputs. Try waiting for the selection to take effect. (The documentation says press OK or the Volume Up button. Sometimes, the Source button on the TV functions as an OK button. This isn't clearly identified for the Palsonic.)

If the HDMI input is greyed out, the TV may not be seeing a compatible signal from the source. Try turning on the device when the TV is off, then turn on the TV. I'm not sure if this TV will correctly see the signal from a computer. However, on some laptops, you'll need to enable the external video first. This is disabled to save power. Then turn off the computer. Finally, turn on the TV before turning the computer back on.

Palsonic has the manual available for the TFTV492LED on the product (discontinued) site under the Downloads tab. See http://palsonic.com.au/archive/led-tv/tftv492led.htm . The direct link to the manual is http://palsonic.com.au/customer_service/led-instruct/Palsonic_TFTV492LED_Manual.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Philips model 37PF7320A won't turn on

The power supply regulator section is not working properly. It will be best to replace this board as card basis rather than trying to make it right. Philips have used some special numbered components there, which are very difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. Contact the nearest authorized service center for Philips to buy a new board.

TV won't turn on power light flashes 10 times

Switch off the TV from remote, then switch off the on/off button on the TV, remove the plug pin from the power outlet. Cool off for 48 hours and then retry. If nothing works, better refer it to a qualified service technician.

Won't turn on.

Did you get it working Jason? My MP610 did the same thing to me this morning... I went through all the rigmarole of moving it, testing it with different power cords and etc... with no success. I left it unplugged completely, tried it again this afternoon and it works. Well, it turned on, copied a piece of paper, I was able to access the ink cartridges and switched it on and off again twice and it worked. Hoping it will stay that way.
I don't know if it happened because I put a CF card in to slot - will try card in another reader first and see what happens...
I would be interested to hear what happened with yours, Jason.Cheers, Vicki 23rd April 2012

Power light flashing/ no picture

I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.
