Question about LG CU500 Cellular Phone
One of my kids have changed and set it to on, that is my security code. so now when i turn my phone on it wants a security code that i dont know and no one is owning upto setting this. it is a 4 dig number, and only numbers allowed. how can i reset this phone without using a hammer please.
the phone is a lg tu500s. telstra. i have searched for answers and all codes i have found want you to use either # and or * with numbers but only allows a four dig number. its a pre paid sim, and cant use the last four dig of that number or 0000 or 1234 and have know idea what it could be.
Ring you provider and they will give you your code. i had the same problem. I rang the recharge number and selected option 4.

The default Security code is 12345.
If you changed it and
forgot the security code please contacts your device dealer. They will provide
you the default security code so that you can use your phone.
This security lock
prevents thieves from being able to make use of stolen handsets that is why it
can only be unlocked by authorized device dealers.
