Bluetooth Crashed, won't turn on or off (can it be reset?)

Yesterday, I noticed that my bluetooth wouldn't turn on or off. After plugging it into the charger, the light would go on and it would charge. When it was unplugged from the charger, the light would remain on; and if I manually tell my phone to connect to the bluetooth, it would, and the device would work well; however, I could not turn it off. I would have to manually tell my phone to disconnect. (Note, later on, the only way to connect my phone was to first plug it into my charger, and connect when the light was still on) Now as of today, the device doesn't work altogether. Tried charging it get it to connect, but no luck. Power button doesn't turn it on nor off. I see the light go on when it charges, but turns off when I unplug it. Any way to reset it?

SOURCE: Won't charge up...

I had the same issue. So what I did was get a small screwdriver, opened the A210 case removed the battery. You will notice orange tape (remove it) then attached to the battery is a small board (the defective part) . Cut away the board, then you will need to solder the wires back to the thin metal film leads. And voila it will now charge, make sure to never let it charge for more than 2 hours. Do this at your own risk. Of course this will void the warranty.

While using Bluetooth I hit forget this device. I need to use the device now but it won't recognize it. How do I reset the Bluetooth?

Easy; Go to settings and tell the device to scan for devices. Obviously make sure the device you want to use is turned on first and all going well, your phone will tell you your ready to use that pareticular bluetooth device. Good Luck. George

My iPad won't find my Bluetooth speaker

Go to settings, General, blue tooth and remove any "other" previous paired BT devices & Turn off BT, then go to Sett. General, scroll down to reset and reset network settings, this will not delete anything. Power off BT speaker. after iPad re-boots turn on BT Speaker First, make sure BT is off on iPad as well as WIFI-wait like 10-15 seconds and then turn BT on in iPad it should see your speaker now and let you pair it up.

I own a Plantronics Discovery 975. It connected fine with the bluetooth and I used it on skype mainly. Then one day whilst on skype, the noise was crackling, the computer crashed and I had to restart the...

The headset may still be listed on the computer, you need to delete it and then re-pair it back up the computer. When your computer crashed you didn't say if the bluetooth is on the computer or if it is something that is an adapter, which may have been damaged in the crash.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

I have a H270 Bluetooth headset. I charged it

I had the same problem. I plugged a USB charger into the headset and turned the power switch off. It worked as normal after that. I think it does not like to be "on" when the USB is disconnected. Anyway it seems the plugging/unplugging kick-started it.

Ps2 on ps3 game problems

I also had this problem running PS2 games. I noticed that when it happened, my bluetooth remotes becames unpaired and could no longer be used to turn the PS3 on/off. Pressing the PS button would not interrupt the hung PS2 game (i.e., it would not give me the options to quit the game, turn the system/controller off, etc.). I talked with the Sony Playstation folks and they suggested resetting the bluetooth controllers (by poking the hole on the backside next to the screw hole). They said sometimes the bluetooth info gets honked. Just before this problem popped up, I was messing around with pairing a bluetooth headset and may have interrupted the pairing. You may have a similar situation, so try resetting your controllers. You may have to plug into the USB port if they won't re-pair after resetting (I did). Good luck!
