I recently took my Audi A4 2007 to be serviced. They replaced the oem audi canister purge solenoid and oem audi updated purge solenoid hose assy. They drained the intercooler. There was a quart and a half of oil. They said the turbo seals were leaking. I called audi and they said this never happens in this generation of cars. They said I need a valve cover assembly. This car is going to my 16 year old daughter. I need it to be safe and reliable. I also need an economical solution. Please help.

The best balance of price, quality, availability that I have found is Mobil1 synthetic - it's on Audi's approved oils list. With the 2.0T engine, you absolutely want to use synthetic (the Audi turbo fours are known for oil sludge issues), and you want to do a SeaFoam treatment every 15k miles or so - that combination will keep your engine in great running shape.

Inside the boot is a plastic cap embeded in the boot liner. Remove the cap to reveal a screw. Undo the screw and the whole rear light cluster will come away in a sideways and not rearward direction to reveal all of the bulbs. Hope this helps.
