Go to start menu then type in run "msconfig"
then go to services then check there is all services enabled? if not enable all.

Iv disabled camera by mistake, how can i get it back

If this is a computer camera, type DEVMGMT.MSC in the search bar and hit enter, you should get the device manager to show up. The list should show all the hardware. Look for the camera and if it is disabled, it should show as disabled. You can enable it there.

If windows xp and upwards: Print spooling service might have been disabled (or not enabled yet) Solution: Start -> Run In the box type services.msc and hit enter Scroll until you see print spooler. Check whether it has been disabled. Enable it. Hi,

Which SageTV version are you using.. Make sure you disable the two services for Hauppauge in the services.msc. You can't have both running. If you use SageTV with MediaMVP.

Click on Start for XP or Orb for Vista
Click on Run
Type: services.msc
Scroll down for MVP two services and make sure they're not started or enabled.

Reboot the PC also.. Make sure you have SageTV MVP Client Licenses to run your MediaMVP. There is a license needed for each MVP client you have. Thanks, __________________

Zero wireless configuration has been disabled on presario

Follow this procedure to stop and start the Wireless Zero Configuration service in the Windows XP Operating System:
  1. Click the Start button, then click Run .
  2. In the Run window, next to Open , type cmd .
  3. Press the ENTER key.
  4. In the Command Prompt window, type net stop wzcsvc .
  5. In the Command Prompt window, type sc config wzcsvc start= auto .
  6. Press the ENTER key. NOTE: The [SC] ChangeServiceConfig SUCCESS should be displayed.
  7. Type net start wzcsvc .
  8. Press the ENTER key. NOTE: The Wireless Zero Configuration service was started successfully message should be displayed.
  9. Type exit .

How to enable liveupdate button on a symantec AV client running version 9.

This solution is if your running on a home pc. You should try going to start, then run and type services.msc click ok. Your services will come up. Look for something that looks like symatec. If it has been disabled you can enable it from this screen. Hope this helps.

Probable reasons are:
  • you are logged in without administrator privileges;
  • antivirus and/or anti-malware is preventing;
  • virus infected;
  • services disabled.
Solutions:
  • reboot and log in as Administrator or give your username administrator privileges;
  • temporarily disable antivirus and/or anti-malware;
  • scan, clean;
  • enable, in Services tab of msconfig in Start/Run

Windows vista

1. Disable Windows Update
a. Click on start
b. Click on all programs
c. Click on accessories
d. Click on Run
e. Type services.msc and press ok
f. Right click on "Windows Update"
g. Click on stop (Windows Update is now disabled)
2. Rename Software Distribution folder
a. Navigate to: C:/Windows/
b. Find the folder named: “SoftwareDistribution”
c. Rename that folder to something like “SoftwareDistribution.old”
d. Create a new folder called “SoftwareDistribution”
3. Enable Windows Update
a. Click on start
b. Click on all programs
c. Click on accessories
d. Click on Run
e. Type services.msc and press ok
f. Right click on windows update
g. Click on start
If you are unable to find Software Distribution Folder, follow these steps before #2 above.
1. From the explorer window press the Alt key to view the file menu.
2. Click Tools
3. Select Folder Options
4. Select the View tab
5. Select “Show hidden files and folders”
6. Remove the selection from “Hide protected operating system files”
7. Click OK

Restart your PC and you should be good to go!
