SOURCE: cord broke off at plug connection point

it certainly could be repaired. just requires a new connector and some soldering expertise. unsure of any 'store' or 'vendor' that one could walk into for such a repair. depening on how much they cost it may or may not be worth pursuing repair from the manufacturer. perhaps you have a friend who can solder? then you may be able to get the connector at a store such as radio shack.

alternative - it wont be pretty, but if you have a compatible connector from some other unused or broken headphones or cable - you could cut off that connector (keeping some length of wire to work with)
-separate the 2 wires (both from the new connector and from the headphones) and strip back the the insulation on them, about 1" or so.
-unwrap the shield and twist it to keep the stands together
-this should reveal another insulated wire - strip this one back about 0.5"
-join the matching wires from the 2 parts (4 total connections) take care to arrange the wires so that none of the bare wire parts touch each other - use tape (preferably electrical tape) to cover them individually to achieve this.
-test it out.

SOURCE: loose connection in Bose headphones

Cut the ******** and replace it with a new one. You will need to solder the wires on to the new one. Keep the old one, cut it open and it will tell you which wires go to which terminal.

Testimonial: "Thanks - I suspected it might come to that and I'll probably try it."

Get a new cord from Bose. $8.00. You've lost the ground connection and you're hearing everything out-of-phase.

Static in the left ear, feels like a bad connection

Hi.

First test if the problem occurs using different output devices. Also ensure there is no earthing problem with the wall socket. In that case you will get the problem even when playing from speakers.

If the problem depends on the speakers, then it is a bad connection. The headphones are not supposed to be disassembled and must be replaced.

Call Bose to sort out the problem.

Hi,problem can be solved. What you would do it to open the headphone, and see if the wire or cable that is connected to the speaker might have pulled out. One's it is pulled off, You can use a soldiering iron and a lead to solder it back and one's you solder it,problem solved.

Best option is to make an online complaint.. Bose will replace your entire unit as they cannot afford it for the sake of an headdphone. I hope you have not damaged it otherwise by dropping or connecting to any wrong device. ZLooks as though the speakers has packed up a bit.... Talk to their toll -free phone call centre - get the details from the Bose web site closer to your area... ok . Hope you get justice.

Trying to reconnect right side of my bose

soldering would do the job but... if its dead, I suggest leaving it dead. if its wire damage, there is very little to what you can do. perhaps you should consider a new one.

You might have a bad connection on the wiring terminal inside the left speaker where the left and right join the main cable. Here is a link:http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1045725/how_to_solder_how_to_repair_headphones/

How to hook up bose headphones to tv

The best way to get sound to connect to the headphones would be if you had an audio system connected to your tv, like an audio reciever. Then you could just plug the headphones into that and voila, you have sound. Also recievers give better audio quality. The other thing I would suggest is getting wireless headphones and connect them to the tv itself. But then they wouldn't be your Bose phones. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Bose 3-2-1 to a computer?

If I understand the question right are you trying to hear sound from your computer through your bose system? If you are then you need to hook a 1/8 mm headphone jack style cable on one end to the headphone jack on computer and on the other end of the cable you need a standard red and white rca type connection that hooks to back of bose system for sound. This cable is called a mini to rca stereo cable the pin connection for the computer has 2 little black bands around the plug there are 2 bands for 2 channel stereo sound.
