My Hotmail went over to Windows Live Mail ok and I have all my old mail. My Messenger became Skype which is slow and clumsy but works. I suggest you try logging on directly on the Hotmail site at
https://login.live.com.
Get back to me if this still doesn't work.

It is not uncommon for users to forget their user names and passwords, especially when trying to access an email account not often used.
Email providers like Yahoo! and Google are aware that users forget and have implemented a way to identify the user in this situation. In order to use this retrieval method, you must have submitted an alternate email address when you signed up for that email.

Go to the email sign-in page.
Notice the option underneath the login fields for users that have trouble signing in; in Yahoo! Mail this option is "I forgot my Yahoo! ID" and in Google Gmail this option is "Can't Access Your Account."
Click this option.
Enter the alternate email address entered when you set up up your email address.
Yahoo! Mail users also need to enter the birth date, country and postal code entered when the email address was set up. Click "Next."

Log in to your alternative email address and click the email provided.
Your email user name is available in the body of the email.
Click the link within that email to reset your email password.
To reset your email password, the provider might require that you answer your security question.
Go back to the email sign-in page and log in using your user name and new password.

Hotmail have a forgotten password link but you must have another email adress to send your forgotten password to
just open up another email acc at hotmail/live.com eg: [email protected]
in the right hand corner on the hotmail homepage you should see help center
down in the bottom right hand corner tab click on that another page will open you should see another help center click on that again another page will open with account calender contacts essentials
click on the account tab another page will open with if you have forgotten your password or are having trouble signing in yet another page will open get help with your password problem
or signing in click on it you should see something like I forgot my password or I know my password but am having trouble signing in I think someone else is using my hotmail account
at the sign in for your hotmail account click on forgot password tab another page will open then on the reset password tab

Erase Email Addresses in My Computer

Email addresses can be stored on a computer if you use email software, such as Microsoft Office Outlook and Yahoo Messenger Beta.

Deleting email addresses manually from these programs does not actually completely erase them from your computer.

To erase email addresses permanently, meaning that a hard drive recovery program will not be able to restore them if it is used, requires a process called formatting, which completely erases the information on a hard drive.

Click on the shortcut "My Computer," which you can locate on your desktop.

Right click "Local Disk (C:)" and select the "Format" option.

Change the "Allocation Size Unit" to "Default Allocation Size."

Click the "Start" button.

The email addresses, as well as the rest of the files on the hard drive, will now be erased.

Delete a Live Mail Email Address

Windows Live Mail is a part of the Windows Live suite of productivity and entertainment programs, and it is intended to be the new free email client for Windows beginning with Windows 7.

After trying Windows Live Mail, you may decide that you have added too many email addresses and that you would prefer to use the email client to check only one address.

Remove an email address from Windows Live Mail to reduce the clutter in your email inbox.
Launch Windows Live Mail, and browse to the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen.

Click "Accounts."

Click the email account that you would like to delete.

Click the "Remove" button.

A message will appear to remind you that any messages belonging to the email account that are not backed up in another location will be deleted permanently.

Click "OK" to confirm.

The account will be deleted immediately.

Click "Close" to return to Windows Live Mail.

Delete Hotmail Adresses

Log in to your hotmail account and click "Help."

Search for "Cancel Account" and select "Why are all my email messages gone?"

Expand the option that says "Close a free Hotmail account" and click "Windows Live Hotmail close account."

Click "Close Account" on the page that opens.

If you do not sign in to your account for 365 days, your account will also be deleted.

I used to set up email on my
Monte. I'm using an old hotmail
account that didn't support IMAP
or SMTP properly.
1.Set Up a GMail account eg.

2.Set GMail to allow IMAP via the
settings link the the top right
hand corner. (under Forwarding
and POP/IMAP)
3.Under accounts and import set
up the send mail as to send mail as
[email protected]. Set this
to default send adress
4.In the same tab under check
mail using pop3 set up the pop3 to
recieve from someone@

This should allow you to recieve
new messages from the time you
set up the gmail account on your
phone and to send emails with all
the appearences of coming from
your hotmail account while
actually coming from google's
smtp server. Really do check that
the GMail is set up properly, make
sure it recieves emails adressed
to your hotmail and that it sends
in your hotmail account's name.

You would use the .net email address that you used to sign up for the xbox live service... usually a hotmail or msn email.

If you can not login to your Face Book you can try cant sign in and type in your e-mail address and open your e-mail account and a message will open with instructions and a link to change for a new password or just type in your old password you had and you can

The only way to do that is to create the new e-mail account and let everyone know. There are multiple ways to do this.

One is that you can forward all your mail from your old e-mail address to your new one.

Another is that you can check your old gmail account in your new one. This one is a little more advanced and is not recommended if you are not planning on still using the old e-mail address in the future.

Another idea is to forward your old e-mail and set an automatic vacation response that sends back to anyone that e-mails your old account a message with your new e-mail address for them to change in their records.

Changing to a new e-mail address is a drawn out process that takes longer the longer that you've had your e-mail address. The good thing about gmail is there extremely high quota, which allows plenty of time for you to start using your new e-mail address without missing out from your old e-mail.
