The Panasonic webpage support has a download file for Windows Vista, but it still errors on installation on a 64 bit operating system. It seems that Panasonic has not updated drivers for the SDR-H40 video camera to be compatable with the latest Vista options.
Excuseme If I don't explain so clair, because I don't speak english well, but let me try that I did to solve this problem. First I installed a Virtual Machine(VMware Workstation 6.5.1) in miy Pc(64 bits) . Second, I installed a Windows Vista home basic(32 bits) or Windows XP Sp2 (32bits) on it., depending of what Operative sistem do you have in your real machine. And finally I could installed the Videocam suit in the Virtual Machine and everything was ok. I could transfer all my videos of the camera to the pc very easy The only inconvenient is that you need to transfer the videos downloaded of the virtual machine to the real machine with a flash memory or similar something.

I am having the same problem as www_ccowell. I have a SDR-H80. The supplied USB doesn't seem to be recognised by my MacBook Pro. It's not popping up anywhere and when I plug the cable into the recorder - it doesn't have any power.

I have a panasonic TM10 camcorder - every time I try to burn recorded footage on to a disc the software crashes (gets about 10% in to the burn). Any suggestions how I can get round this? Cheers Richard Dennett
