EBay.com is a good source. You can look for "595B password" on eBay, or you can contact Dell tech support.

That's why I asked you to search "595B password" on eBay.

I think Shahzad Iqbal can help you. It seems he has 595B password generator.

I just put a new 9 cell battery, two new 2GB ram cards & a new, blank hard drive in our Dell Inspiron 1525. But the screen does not seem to work when I turn it on, or after I put in an installation...

Remove the battery, and connect the AC power. Then, try to start it.

Disconnect the AC power, and remove the "new" disk-drive.
Then, connect the AC power, and try to start it.

Disconnect the AC power. Remove the "new" RAM, and put the "old" RAM back in.
Then, connect the AC power, and try to start it.

If it does start, add the "new" disk-drive, and try again.

If it does start, add the "new" RAM, and try again.

Error code 2000-0146 do i need new hard drive if so what is the replacement hard drive for a dell inspiron 1525 notebook pc thx

that error actually refers to a hard drive issue/failure. You may attempt a reformat and reinstall, but if it fails, you can proceed to get a new hard disk. You can get in touch with Dell for warranty replacement if applicable, or order a new hard drive. You may then decide either to get the same capacity or upgrade to a higher capacity drive.

I cant put inspiron 1525 back together

It could be that you have not insert the memory sticks in correctly this can result in not screen.
1. check to see if you have the memory sticks seated in their slots correctly.
2. remove the hard drive and re - insert it into the hard drive slot.

Dell Inspiron 1525 Hard drive

There is a trick to getting an overheated and damaged hard drive to run for a short period of time, maybe enough to get your data off of it. Place the damaged hard drive in a tupperware bowl with a lid. Get a can of refrigerant from an auto parts store, wear gloves....open the refrigerant with the attached hose and direct the refrigerant into the bowl keeping as much in there as possible. This will freeze the bearings and in a lot of cases allow the device to work for short period of time. This of course will not work if the problem is a damaged read/write head or controller card.
