I'd suggest the cheapest fixes first. I had the same issue and it turned out to be the coil pack. Cost-$20 Time- 10 minutes.

Did this after changing the fuel filter and plugs and wires three times. Its definitely worth your time to try the coil pack first. Oh, also make sure none of your spark plug boots or wires are grounding on the egine. That will give you the exact same symptoms. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected in 2006 f150 STX

Looking at the Engine on a ford is different from a gm. The correct cylinder numbers are 1234 from front to back on the passenger side and 5678 front to back on the driver's side

Check your in Service date and see if you may be under Warranty. If not, if you changed your plug there was a individual coil on top. That should be changed too.

Also remember to clear the codes by taking off a battery cable for 10 minutes. Autozone and Oreillys will scan for free.

SOURCE: where is the fuse panel

I'll do my best to explain where it is but I wish I had a picture for you. I hope you understand. This is from the owners manual. The fuse panel is located under the right-hand side of the instrument panel. remove the trim panel and the fuse box cover to access the fuses. I hope this helps and good luck.

2006 ford f150 Stx 4wd,is there 2 plugs on here

Sometimes the drain plug can only be accessed after the skid plate is removed. There is one there somewhere. Also be advised, a lot these newer transfer cases can require Mercon V ATF, not 90W gear lube. Make sure you re-install the correct fluid!

2005 F150 STX

There is Sometimes an Option in the Owners Manual to Stop this. Most of the Time though you cannot as it is a Safety Option.
