Newer PSP firmwares (3.70 up) shows internal error when you scan for signal but there is no wifi signal.. instead of saying "no wifi signal" or something..message would be "internal error..."

when you are sure that there is wifi signal in a certain area..try scanning in that area..i'm pretty sure that it can get a signal.. hop this helps..

I had the same problem same code, it was the wifi card, your find it under the mother board, I brought mine on e-bay under psp spares, It only cost me £6.00 i was lucky. Be carefull when taking apart, Write down and draw were the screws come from, it will make life easier later when rebuilding it. I hope this helps you. Good luck.

First, you must be in range of a Wifi hotspot, Once in range of the hotspot, go to "Settings" menu, >> "Network Settings" and press "X" Button. Select "Infrastructure Mode" or "Ad Hoc Mode" and press X Button. Set up the "New Connection". follow onscreen instruction.

PSP connection error: 80410A0B

This error is often cause because of an incompatibility between the router and the PSP, the PSP uses 801.11 B, So make sure the device your "Talking to" is the same set your router to B.
In any event it is a WiFi connectivity thing.. Also it maybe a "Bug" apparently in the latest firmware, also see the post below.

This normally indicates a fault with the wifi module inside your PSP. You could do a fw upgrade to latest software or take to get repaired.

Connection error for sony psp

Hi this is definately a Wifi Fault code. if your doing everything right on connection and the PSP throw the 80410A0B code, you may need a new Wifi card. it is the same card as the memory stick. When connecting wifi, the PSP will tell you if the connection has security turned on or not. If it is WEP or WPA or something like that, you need a passcode the access the internet.
