I have an older model clock radio (ck s2288) and now that daylight savings times have changed, is there a way to reset to correspond with the new dates-times?

I would like to get a new clock, due to the time change i bought one for myself and i loved it so much i bought one for each one of my paarents. But now i might as well have a reegular old clock I was late to work by an hour from the last time change which made me angry I don't brag the clock up to anyone anymore like I used to. an exchange would be nice!

Directions for Resetting the Daylight Savings Time (DST)
Start & End Dates on the Emerson Research Smartset Dual Alarm Clock
Radio (cks5055s):
- This should work for all Smartsets, but I cannot make the guarantee (and no, I don't have any other directions, sorry)!
- Adjusting the DST Start Date on an Emerson Research Smartset:
- Depress & hold the MONTH/DATE and the ALARM1 buttons (at the same time). After 3 seconds the display will show the DST 'start' month, week, and date. It should be alternately showing "4 F" (April and first week week) and "4. 1".
- While still holding the MONT/DATE and the ALARM1 buttons, press the DOWN (or "-") button 3 times, until the display is showing "3" (March) and the week as "F2". It should alternately flash "3 F2" and "3. 11".
- After this is set, the clock should "automatically" reset itself
- Adjusting the DST End Date on an Emerson Research Smartset:
- Depress & hold the MONTH/DATE and the ALARM2 buttons (at the same time). After 3 seconds the display will show the DST 'end' month, week, and date. It should be alternately showing "10 L" (October and last week week) and "10. 28".
- While still holding the MONT/DATE and the ALARM1 buttons, press the UP (or "+") button 1 time, until the display is showing "11" (November) and the week as "F". It should alternately flash "11 F" and "11. 4".
- After this is set, the clock should "automatically" reset itself

Set your alarm for (1) hour earlier and it will wake you up on time - remember when you get up the time will be wrong - this will hold you until time changes next week -then you will be ok.

This would be a better solution that bland wrote; Unplug the smart clock and set it in a drawer. Go to your box of junk and find the clock that you replaced with the smart clock. Use this alarm clock until the first sunday in November.. Take the smart clock out of the drawer and start using it again....
