Hello Mustang Cathy,
You have connection problem in Video with TV & Home Theater. This error comes mostly wrong combination of "Component Video" connections. Kindly check that one color pin must be connected with same color pin at other unit. Here is 2 pictures for further assistance. Hope problem will be solved and you will enjoy true color picture on tv.
It all depends what has led up to the problem, however if there has
been no indication of something going wrong,ie. picture getting dimmer, the most common fix is to reset.
First just check all cables are firmly connected. If that does not work then....
Unplug tv, disconnect from cable box, satellite box, any receivers.
Also turn power off to them as well.
Connect everything back and turn on.
hi to get picture plug in the hdmi cable into tv and pc then press FN key plus the key that has a picture of one or two tv screens along the top of the keyboard and i think for sound you will need an audio jack 3.5mm cable to connect to tv and the mic jack on your pc..im running a vga on my pc to vga on my tv and i needed an audio cable for sound or you might want to select your menu on your tv and select pc or hdmi not sure though thats what i do and it works great...hope this helps
That is what happened with are tv. My husband took the tv apart and started messing with everything and got the tv to line up better. he just turned the nobs and messed with the coloring.
simplist solution, if the TV has an audio output just run that to the Bose system.
what type of TV are you connecting to?
Is the cable box an HD or digital box?
Usually with DVD players, picture & no sound, or sound & no picture is caused by the scart lead not being plugged in properly.
Sound pins are at one end of the connector and audio pins at the other.
If you are using scart make sure that the plugs at both ends are pushed in all the way. The plastic part of the plug should just touch the socket.
If you are using S-Video (Round connector with 4 pins) you also need to connect a twin phono-phono (Red & Black or White) lead to carry the audio, as S-Video only carries video.
