A fatal error when opening the Epocrates application typically indicates that one of our database files has become corrupt.
HotSyncing again may restore functionality. If not, uninstalling and reinstalling our application should correct the problem.
Other Fatal Error messages relate to not enough free memory on your mobile device for a complete installation or, your mobile device does not use the correct Palm OS version. Please verify you meet our minimum system requirements by returning to our web site, click Support, and then click System Requirements by your Epocrates application.
Delete Epocrates Palm/Win from your mobild device.
On your mobile device, tap the clock (located upper left corner of your screen), tap App then Delete.
Select the following files (one at a time) then tap Delete. You may not see all of these files on your mobile device. It may take several minutes to delete a file. The file will disappear from the program list or your mobile device will turn off when complete.

Tap Done when finished.
Disable the Epocrates conduit.
On your computer, click on the HotSync Manager icon in the lower right hand corner of your system tray then click Custom.
Double click Epocrates , select Do Nothing and check Set As Default. Click OK.
Double click System, select Handheld Overwrites Desktop and check Set As Default.
Click OK then Done.
HotSync your mobile device to your computer.
Locate and double click Epocrates2PalmW.exe to reinstall Epocrates.
If you cannot locate this file, return to our web site, click My Account, login, click Epocrates Download then follow the remaining on-screen instructions.
