Have the alternator removed and the slip rings on the rotor cleaned and machined . Replace the brushes and have the unit bench tested . When this happens it is an indication that the brushes cannot maintain contact with the slip rings either from lost spring tension --dirt on the rings and rings badly scored

Voltage flexuates from14volts to 11volts when 2003 tahoe is in drive and brake is apply at stop sign and also when idling

Check that the idle speed is not too low in drive . Should be around 900 rpm in neutral and the idle speed is adjuste in drive to no less than 750 rpm. IT takes rpm for the alternator to charge the battery so if you have 11 volts then the car is runnung off the battery and not the alternator. It needs 13.5 volts to charge a battery and most regultors are set at 14 vvolt to 15.5 volts. If the vehicle is runnung from the battery as I stated then items like blinkers and stop light operation will show as fluctuations on the gauge. Have the system check . Make sure the drive belt to the aklternator is correctly adjusted as a slipping belt will also cause a problem.

My 95 tahoe has an occasional ticking noise, loss of oil pressure at idle and loss of power

Prognosis is really bad, hate to tell you. Ticking comes from the valve lifters, losing lubrication due to lack of pressure and running dry. At redlights, when revs are at idle, oil pressure drops a lot, and engine really suffers. Have the vehicle taken immediately to a shop for proper diagnose and to see if engine can still be saved. The loss of power comes from the valves not actuating properly. Hydraulic lifters need oil at a decent pressure to "charge" , and if not charged, they will stay compressed, ruining valve lifting operation.

My 2003 chevy tahoe won't start in the morning

Many possible causes....Too little info to make an intelligent suggestion. Try charging the problem vehicle's battery with jumper cables for 2 minutes with the supply vehicle running at fast idle (or about 1500-2000 RPM, if it is tachometer equipped) before you try to crank the problem vehicle on a cold morning. If it starts right up, you likely have a weak battery that needs replacing.

I would check battery connections, battery to motor ground, battery to body ground and motor to body ground strap connections. If you have a bad ground it can cause all kinds of electrical problems.

could be the battery still or it could be your battery head isnt contacting well. wen your rev the battery is good for some time and later thesame problem then i think your alternator isnt charging your battery which kills battery life span. try all this and if no charge get back to me.

My 2003 chevy tahoe, died while i was driving home. when i tried to start it, nothing happens. it doesnt try to crank or turn over, nothing happens, now my ABS and battery light is on.

OK if only 4 months old, charge it with an external battery charger. Once vehicle is running the quick and still most valid test I make is:
Running, with no accessories on, charge volts on volt meter (not dash gauge) should read between 12.9 &14volts. Turn all accessories and headlights on high beam. Volts should not read below 12.5v at idle and should not creep lower after running at any time, even after ten or fifteen minutes. If voltaqge is not as specified alternator has failed and needs replacement.
