Indesit w1101 door catch broken

If the catch is broken on the inside so the metal bit is in tact but just not locking into the plastic bit then it can be easily fixed. You need to buy a new one its around £17. It is easy to fit by opening the door and removing the rubber seal from the front and unscrewing the old faulty catch and fitting the new one.The seal needs to just be pulled forward on the right side where the catch needs to be removed. Just make sure you dont pull the rubber seal off on the inside on the drum as it is almost impossible to fit it back on. It can be done but is very difficult. If the actual door catch is broke then a new door costs around £38 and again is easily fixed on. Have just done this myself.
