This is a maytag mah2400a frontloading washer that is 4 years old. It stops through the middle of the cyle, without spinning, and gives me the 3E error message. I removed the pump, and checked it and the in and out hoses, they were not blocked. I ran through the diagnostics and when I ran the Board Output Test for Motor and the Quick Spin Test, the tub begins to spin, then stops and the pump activates, pauses then repeats indefinately. In the Quick Spin Test, It is supposed to start at 90 rpms then pump, then got to 400rpm, 600, etc but in never spins more than one or two revolutions, then pauses, tries to pump again and tries to spin again. Any ideas here? I have thus far checked the motor windings at the board connection and they are fine 3 ohms for the rotor, 1 ohm for each stator connection, the belt seems fine. I'm stumped.

My machine keeps stopping the cycle I have put it in and the 'stain vanish' light starts flashing even thought I have never pressed the button for the option. It does it on every kind of cycle. What can I do to reset it so that this doesn't happen?

I have the Model number: MAH4000AWW from 1999 The machine washes good, the clothes are clean, but in the end doesn't drain all the water, before I used to hear a big noise in the final spin when I was able to use the MAX EXTRACT BUTTON, but now is quiet and will NOT reach top spin speed. I noticed also that the DOOR LOCKED LIGHT does NOT comes on. At the end of the wash, cloths are still soaked in water.
