Question about RCA D52W19 52" Rear Projection Television

Rca d52w17 hdvt rear projection Problem

We have owned are RCA for about four years with no problems have had a few problems with flikering at the top of the screen but it never last but a second or two. Know the set will not turn on no pitcher but the power indicator will come on for a few seconds then go off. If you unplug the set and plug it back in it will try to turn on again but again with no pitchers

If the light cycles on three time the micro is working but there is something shuting it down.a This is not clear cut it would need to be troubleshot. You need to call a tech.

if your supplying an RGB signal to this set from a cable or sat box and not using its built in digital tuner id check the connections of the "R" (red) cable input this might have come disconnected

I have a RCA D52W17 rear projection T.V. When I turned the power on the green light flashed 3 times then shut off and now it won't go on at all.

Thanks for using FixYa. 3 blinks in your RCA D52W17 rear projection are caused due to 3 capacitors (CP114, 120 and 150) which are located on the deflection board. If any of these capacitors goes bad you’ll have to replace them with the exact same ones. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Rca d52w17 convergence off on 1080i signal only tv works fine with 480p signal.
you will need to adjust the geometry and convergence defaults for both the 1080 and 480 seperately then save. You can get the CD called the ITC222 chassis convergence and alignment CD which shows how to do that from www.tvrepairworld.com

RCA D52W17 wont come on, the green power light goes on and off three times then stays off.
On deflection board CK capacitor cp 150 2200uf 16v use 25v if i is puffed up on top it is Bad replace 2 more caps in same circuit cp114 cp120 220uf 35v for parts call Mats 1-800-628-1118

I have a rca tv model d52w17 chassis # D416c30WC.
sounds like the flyback if your talking about the lower left when looking at the rear of the set.

Replaced the Capacitors, Still have a Power Issue
Resolder all the pinns on Flyback transfomer.

Will not start properly RCA D52W17
Replace CP150 , CP120 and CP114 that should take care of the Issue of hard to power up. You can get the replacement capacitors at the following link with free instructions.

RCA D52W17 Picture is cut off at the top of screen
is it a black area on the screen? or just cant see the heads anymore? either way its proabaly a setting on the remote such as zoom or ratio

RCA D52W17 won't stay on.
Possiblility include bad convergence cuircit. A component that is overheating and bad solder connections.. Technicians can use special equipment to read error codes... this will tell them the error that is shutting it down

RCA D52W17 Rear Projection HDTV......No Sound
in the sound settings is the amplifer set to external or internal.
if thats not the problem.. the audio amp chip might be out. to repair this a technician usally replaces what is know as the small signal board.
