Question about SanDisk Sansa e200 MP3 Player

Hello! my sansa e200 Mp3 player has been threw hell none the less stolen brought backed washed ect. but the following problem does not seem to have anything connected threw those. after it got washed about 2 months later it started acting up. when i press the " skip " button it just restarts the song. i gave up after a while and updated drivers reset to default unistalled reinstalled all songs and programs on it and nothing i think it may be time to buy a better system if this program cant help me : (

Hmm well I don't know what to tell you about any of that since I am having problems myself with my own Sansa Mp3 player, but for the restarting song problem, did you check to make sure your mp3 player wasn't on repeat or hold? because if either of those operations were on then you would not be able to change the song with the skip button! Hope this helps!

For the Sansa e260 4 GB there are 2 versions for the e200 series players:
version 1 manual
version 2 manual
Check the version of your Sansa e200 series:
go to Settings > Info.

SD card compatibility:
For 01.xx.xx firmware (e200 version 1) - up to 2GB microSD cards
For 03.xx.xx firmware (e200 version 2) - up to 16GB microSDHC cards
NOTE: Firmware is not interchangeable.

this player can only RELIABLY read SD cards of 256MB or less - anything bigger may work sometimes, or not at all

Locked up brand new sansa e 200, just opened this am, how do i unlock it, downlowded many songs, stuck on highway to hell?

all you can really do is hardboot it. unscrew the screws in the back and remove the battery, then replace. i just did it with mine, and it loaded up properly and appears to be working....

Hey Do the recovery Turn ur mp3 off lock it and hold rec and on it wiil have u plug in the usb cord and leave it there for 5 min And unlock then it will turn back on its self

My sandisk e200 wont start

Hold on the menu/power icon for 15-20 seconds, it doesn't matter if the hold icon is on, this will reset your sandisk e200. if this doesn't work, then you might want to take it back to the store you bought it from.
