Try toggling the volume bar on the right during boot to see if you get the option for a hard reset. If that fails, you might try letting it run dead at that white screen...probably will take days...then try charging and rebooting. I had an IPOD that resolved by doing that.

If the well meaning teenager took a non-raid configuration and created a RAID array, then any data on the drives was destroyed.
If you reply with the RAID array and HDD status information from the boot screen (THE intel Raid Controller will report the status of the array, degraded, normal or Failed and the status of each HDD member or non-member disk.) if its booting up and yopu are not able to see the line then its most probably the display problem you better contact service centre bfore trying anything or use a external display to check its running
Form the info you provided, you have a RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) disk array. RAID 0 (striped disks) distributes data across several disks in a way that gives improved speed and full capacity, but all data on all disks will be lost if any one disk fails. Apparently Diagnostics has determined that “Drive 2” is defective. You will have to replace the defective hard drive and reload the Windows operating system.
