I am having the same problem and it while it is rolling through all your buttons become dead. I tried what you suggested for Howie, but it is not working for me.

I've been having the same problem for a while now.

Cycles through every menu option and then through t.v, video 1 and so on.

eventually the remote stops working and the volume and channel buttons on the front of the tv do not work.

I will attempt to see if it is in demo mode.

My set is doing the same thing - continually cycling through the "menu" items. I have tried to select "Demo Stop", but it goes to next option & will not let me select the stop option. I have programmed my cable remote & the "exit" button will stop it, but only momentarily. HELP !!

Your set is  in demo mode---your owners manual will help----
Try holding Menu & power on (front of set) four seconds or
maybe vol up & channel up at same time......T.

Short of it being taken back to factory reset via its menu system, which most will do in some way (Initial setup sequence) the other possible cause could be its tuner which may have a partial fault if so then it is possibly a service call out. Unless its a simple job, sadly these days it will have to go to a service centre contact Toshiba for a local repair place they will have better knowledge of your item.

Reset printer

Please print printer settings configuration page. The page will explain the printer menus and change values. Menus are represented by Continue, Ready/Data, Toner Low and Load/Remove Paper light sequences. Menu Items and their values are indicated by Paper Jam and Error Light sequences

Here are the instructions to do that:

1. Turn off the printer.

2. Open the front access cover

3. Press and hold the red Stop button while powering up the printer.

4. The lights should cycle, release it when the light stops cycling.

5. Close the cover once the ! light displays

6. The lights should cycle again.

7. Then press the Continue button.

8. This should print a Printer Diagnostics page.

9. On the Printer diagnostic page, Use the Utilities menu to troubleshoot printer problems

- Return the printer settings to factory default values.

- Sometimes resetting the printer to the original settings solves formatting problems.

- All menu items are reset to the factory default values except:

- All settings in the Parallel menu, Network menu, and USB menu.

- All downloaded resources (fonts, macros, and symbol sets) in printer memory (RAM) are deleted.

- Resources in flash memory are unaffected.

10. Please locate the value that would say "Factory Defaults".

11. We would need to follow the exact light sequence that you see for the "Factory Defaults".

12. Press and release the Cancel button to advance through the menus and the menu items to the one we would need.

13. Press and hold the Continue button until all the lights cycle to save the function/value.

14. Restart the printer.

MY REMOTE CONTROL DOES NOT WORK AFTER DARK

bdale

You may have IR interference at night because of other items you turn on at night. Try leaving everything off except your TV and receive, try your remote to make sure it functions. Then turn 1 item on at a time, try the remote to see if it works or stops working. Once it stops working, the last item you turned on is causing the interference. It is then a matter of relocating that item so it won't continue to interfere with the remote functions. I hope this helps.
