Battery problem

It's quite possible that the battery was not replaced correctly. Many of them are quite sensitive to proper replacement. Remove it again and carefully inspect the metal contact areas on the battery and inside the laptop to determine if any got moved out of place or damaged. Check your Manual for correct insertion of the battery and carefully put it back in as indicated in the manual. It Must completely click into place and be aligned properly so all of the contacts meet. The edges of the battery should be smooth along the laptop case and fit as one.
