Have new Nokia 2660. Used very little. Went on trip and forgot the charger.
When I arrived home, I have been trying to recharge it. It has been on several hours now but nothing. Should I leave it on all night?

Hi whether you forget the security code of your Nokia mobile then try to reset your phone using default codes like 0000 or 1234 .If this codes didn't help to reset your phone then visit sites like Unlock-Free.com here they are generating master reset code for some older Nokia and alcatel mobile models at free of cost .You can use it and reset your phone then assign new security code ...
First Option: mostly nokia chargers doesn't make problems... just try the following.. connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)... found out whether it is charging or not... if the same prblm appears then there is a prblm in ur cell phone or power jack(socket)... if it charged with usb cable buy a new charger Please change Phone Bettery and check the charging IF Charging Problem not Solved So
Second Option: Your Phone charging IC Fault So Please change charging IC And charging Problem will Solved Quickly
Nokia phones are notorious for slow response time when recharging from a completely dead battery.
Make sure there is good contact between all of the contact points.
plug in charger.
wait for at least 5 min.
If recharge symbol does not appear in window, then one of these things has occurred: 1. Phone has internal damage or water damage. no way to fix without nokia service.
2. Battery is dead. Try a new battery
3. Charger is bad. Try a new/different car charger or home charger.
These chargers are very inexpensive on Craigs List, try to solve it before throwing away the phone. Good luck, A former Nokia employee.
Try taking the battery out of the phone hold the power button for at least 20 seconds and put the battery back in and reconnect the charger. If that doesnt reset the phone then i'd say your phone died and not the battery. Does it do anything at all with the charger hooked up? Any lights come on?
If your phone was bought in the last 6 months you can go to nokia care
center and demand for a new battery and charger or repair the existing ones provided you have the
warranty card. You should get it done for free of cost.If 6 months exceeded then
Did u try another charger of the same mobile company,if yes ,and it
works ,the problem is with your charger. You can either buy a new
charger or get an all battery charger ,a china piece that recharges all
batteries of any mobile company. You can get it below 2$ .
If your battery doesn't charge even with other charger of the same
company then the problem is with your battery. If you are a nokia user
,here is the price list of all nokia batteries.
It sounds like you have a defective battery. Usually when batteries won't hold a charge for very long, then it's time to replace them. Was the phone brand new or used ? If it was used then I am surely gonna say battery, but if it was brand new then it might be something else. I would say that I'm 90% sure you have a bad battery. Hope this helps solve your problem.
I was just upgrading the Nokia software on my E65, connected with USB, charged and connected to charger for backup... and the phone just went dead. I've tried everything to get it going again including taking the batery out and outting it back in aain, holding the on/off button down for a minute - and nothing is happening. The screen is dead. Is Nokia's new upgrade causing this? I see two other posts to this site with the same problem in the past 24 hours. The upgrade was posted on Nokia.com 24 hours ago. my mail is firstname.lastname@example.org
