Question about Harman Kardon AVR 25 MKII
Yeah actually the prein jumpers were the problem...they had worn out....one of those "could have kicked myself" things....thanks for the help tho

I know it sounds dumb to ask these questions as you may or may not have already, but have you checked that any tape monitors are turned on. Another thing to check is that the "prein preout" jumpers are in place on the rear of the unit. If they are not there, just use a spare rca lead to jumper them. Let me know how you got on. Good luck

hey i also had this problem, i don't know the name of these but they are basically plugs that you have to block output from the front rear and center speakers of the white/red cables... sry for bad description but its on the left side when looking at the back of the receiver, while all of the other speaker wires should be hooked up to the right with the twisting knobs... it took me forever to find this out but yeah it was a simple fix
