Re: sound problems....

Check your plug connections. If you have any other audio system at your home, like a CD Player or a radio with a speaker output jacket, try connecting these speakers to them and find if they work on those.

We have older speakers that came with our computer, and we just moved and since we've moved no sound has come out of the speakers. i have checked a million times and everything's plugged in. i...

First check if the driver for your speakers is up to date. For all we know maibe something that was installed automaticaly or by some one might be interfearing with them. Go to the Window menu, click on Conrol Panel, click on speaker settings, and check to see if anything looks off (like everything is gray and you can't really select anything). If everything seems ok check all the volume settings. Remember there are 3 things that control the volume on the speakers. 1: the nob on the speakers; 2: the volume on your desktop (lower right side next to the clock); 3: the volume on the program you are using (like windows media player). Another thing to remember is some computers come with a mute button (ether on the keyboard or monitor. If your computer has a play/skip/stop buttons it most likely has a mute button. Oh, and some computers have a volume nob next to the CD/DVD player (where you put in disks). Maibe some one turned it down as they grabed to move it. Make sure it's also turned up. If they're all turned up then most likely something got bumped loose during the move. In wich case you'll have to open it up and check the conections. It'd be a good idea to test some one elses speakers so you'll know if it's the computer or the speakers...or you could try pluging in the speakers you have into something else (like an MP3 Player).

I just bought Bose Companion 2 speakers which I don't know how to connect to my HP Pavillion desktop PC. The pdf instruction booklet does not help. There are multiple jacks (6) at the back of the tower...

You need to connect the speakers to the green jack in your PC.

Check your system sound volume setting to make sure it's not set to MUTE or the volume slider is on or near the lowest position - you don't specify what system you have on the PC so I can't give you an exact pointer but Volume Control generally is found under Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment.

Please come back and rate the solution if helped or post a comment for further assistance.

I have the speakers S125i of logitech, but there is a piece that is loose inside of the speakers, at the begining the speakers sounds well, but then the left speaker stoped working. I think I'm able...

The Logitech is a little tricky. You need to carefully pry off the white bezel around the speakers and then pry away the grills. Under the grill you will find four screws holding the two speakers, and four screws set deep in holes.

Undo these eight screws and the front will come off.

I'm not getting any sound. Speakers are plugged in but no sound. Was working a few days ago. It's as if the sound programing has been deleted.

Could you specify if it's a computer you're plugging into or a device like an ipod or stereo? If the computer isn't giving you any sound, try the speakers with an ipod or something and then you can narrow down the problem to your sound settings / sound card...

Audio Configuration fudged

Sometimes when you delete a software that relies on your sound, it will accidently erase the sound driver. Look on the front of your computer and write down the model number of your computer. Example Dell 2400. Go to manufacturers website and click on support and drivers. Find your brand and redownload/install audio driver. Reboot and your all done!

Help me

Friend one solution for this problem is to reinstall your soundcard driver if you use one or your windows media player software to see if you have deleted something in your PC. But check the connection of your speaker if it is plug correctectly from your power outlet, if it is plug correctly to your PC input/output pls. check the whole connection.
If after doing these things your speaker works pls. don't forget to rate me. Thanks!
