Phillips model50p8341A turns on but no picture.

I was told since I am an electronics tech to take a reading from the middle pin on onr of thr transistors ans to see if the botom of the tubes were glowing and they are and the transistor has 57 volts. So I told him all that while I was on the phone with him. He has helped me with 3 other bigscrean tv's and has been right every time. His name id Allan Wainwright his website is www.tvdoctor.us.com He has many years of experience. He says its the flyback transformer. I'm just gettin a second opinion here. I also repair Tv's but don'y have much experience with bigscreans. Please let me kno what you think. The tv souds as if it's turning on and working just no picture. I have read around and numerous people are haveing this same problem. Thanks
