Presuming your bank offers Interac e-Transfers, you can use that feature to transfer an amount of funds (Scotiabank and Simplii, for example, have the minimum amount set to $10) to the email address of the account of the person you're transferring funds to (your own email address if yourself). You'll also require a security question and answer, the answer which you must supply the other person with, if not transferring to yourself. If it's your own account, go to your emails and wait for/find the e-Transfer email, open it, and it'll give you the option of using a particular bank or many others. Click on whichever option and from there it should bring you to that bank's sign-in and after that you can use its e-Transfer page to finalize the transfer, with the security answer.
Go online again. If it's been less than 24 hours, select the transaction that you paid, and click "cancel". Or, telephone the bank (their telephone number is on the back of your bank-card) and cancel.
