Question about Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra MP3 Player
If you can get into it easily you can re-solder the point at which the contact is broken off the board. This is a common problem. If you do not know how to solder, or are not good at opening these (it will void any remaining warranty) refer it to someone locally that does.

Unfortunately the Zen Xtra was designed poorly and this problem tends to happen sometime along the life of the product. As you suspected, the problem is the solder joint and the only solution is to open the player and resolder it yourself. As long as you are careful, you shouldn't have any problems. The hardest part is trying to get the thing back together after you took it apart: Just be sure not to loose any of the pieces. Detailed instructions with photos are located here:
