Low water pressure at door

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you are receiving low water pressure for the dispenser on your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FRS3R5EMB. I suggest changing your water filter. It is recommended that you change your water filter every 6-8 months. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

Needs to recharge Frigidaire air-conditioner model-no FAS257R2A

Hello, most window units will not have ports to attach gauges and charge in Refrigerant. In order to do that you must add a piercing valve to the low side of the system. The pressure listed on the nameplate is just the test pressure of the unit, not the actuall pressure that the unit will operate at. The actuall pressure is dependent on the refrigerant used, outdoor and indoor temps.

On an ac system how do i check the high & low preasure switches and what do these switches operate and what is the purpose of them?

If your 2003 Impala had a low pressure switch it would shut off the compressor if the low side pressure got to low. This would indicate that there is not enough refrigerant in the system an therefore not enough oil flow through the compressor so the compressor is shut down.

The high pressure switch, if your impala had one, would turn on the fan once the a/c pressure on the high side reached a certain pressure.

Switches are just that, they are either on or off. A low pressure is normally on and a high pressure is normally off (this can vary greatly depending on the car).

Your impala uses a pressure sensor. The sensor reports actual pressure data to the PCM which combines info from other sensor to determine what should be turned on and when.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions let me know and I'll see if I can answer them for you.

Water pressure

There is no control to turn the pressure up.

Start by checking the water supply to the Ref.

1. Turn the water supply off and disconnect the water line at the back of the ref.
2. Turn the water back on and fill a small pan with water to observe the pressure. low pressure here then replace the tap valve on the cold water line. If the pressure is ok then the problem is in the ref water valve.
