Problem for LG XBR446 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo
Won't accept dvd after loading!
My player spits out every disc I put in it. It gives me various reasons why it wont play, but I keep re-inserting the disc. Sometimes it may take 5 times, other times 20, 25 times or more, but it usally accepts the disc eventually. I have tried to clean the discs and the lens, but this usally does not help. It is not an old machine and at the price I paid for the DVD recorder, it is not disposable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a somewhat same experience.Try taking it apart to see the problem.It might be a problem with the parts that pull the tray in.

DVD door switch is bad. If you are willing to open it up and soldiering a new one, here is a link to a replacement switch.
