Question about RCA H100 MP3 Player

2 Answers

Compatability issues I have an RCA H106A Lyra MP3 player (I assume this is a version of the H100, since I can't find the H106A listed anywhere else). When I installed the software on my pc, I got an error message saying that I need Windows Media Player 10. I have Windows Media Player 11 installed. Is there a way to make the Lyra work with the Windows Media Player 11? What other options do I have?

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

After charging RCA H106A, cuts on but screen reads "FAT error, please connect to UMS device". Will not play any music, nor bring regular menu to screen. How can I fix this? Thanks. EddieB

I could not find a way to fix it, it was basically dead to me. I had the same problem on my h104 one, so I just called up RCA and sent my player to them and then they just sent me the h106.

Hi, you can try to upgrade the player's firmware, you can download it from the RCA Website (moz-screenshot.jpgmoz-screenshot-1.jpg, the firmware it's the second app listed.
If your computer doesn't recognize the player, you'll have to turn it off and keep "PLAY" pressed for 10 seconds while connecting it to the USB port, then update the firmware.
