Question about Kenwood KDC-135 CD Player
Radio/cd were working fine. Suddenly the receive stopped makig sounds, when I was listening to my iPod through a Fm Transmitter. The Cd was ejected. The receiver no longer plays on FM, AM or CD. The power fuse is ok. When I turn on the receiver the insert disc light flashes and if I insert a CD it just rejects it. If I put the headlights on which lights the dash lights all the radio lights flash at about a 2 second rate. If I turn the thumb wheel control on the dash lights all the way up so that the overhead lights come on, the receiver lights stop flashing.
I have tried the reset button but still no joy. I guess I will have to remove it and make sure that there is power at the receiver itself. It is installed in a 1986 Fiero which means that it is not easy to get at. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I once had the same problem and took it in to have it looked at! The guy simply pushed in the small black button to the left of the ATT button and it reset!
Hope that helps!

There is a small hole at the bottom of the stereo face that will reset the system. I pushed a pen tip into the hole and it turned the stereo off. When I removed the pen, the system turned on and the CD ejected. Problem solved.

HAVE YOU REPLACED UNIT? IF YOU HAVE THEN IT COULD BE THE SWITCHED / CONSTENT FEED BEING AROUND THE WRONG WAY, YOU CAN TEST TO SEE IF YOU HAVE A CONSTENT FEED WITH IGNITION OFF ON ONE OF THESE, AND A FEED ON THE OTHER YOU TURN IGNITION ON, THE THESE ARE NORMALLY RED AND YELLOW SWAP THEM ROUND, GROUND/EARTH IS BLACK, FUSE N HEAD UNIT NORMALLY BEHIND THE PLUG THAT FITS IN THE HEAD UNIT
