Compaq presario V6107au boot problems

i have a Compaq presario V6107au laptop wich will not boot up, when the power button is pressed the lights light up for about 2seconds then restarts, no video or audio,ive tried reseating the ram modules as mentioned in other posts on here but with no luck

try to start yr laptop without battry
direct to power supply
or it may be the problem of motherbord

Try booting up your system in safe mode (F8) and if it boot change your boot option to boot up in cd-rom
