Question about Nintendo Wii Console
When I turn my Wii on it makes a really loud humming noise and I figured out that it was the fan but what can I do to fix it?
SOURCE: Funny noises
Is the noise from the PSU brick or the unit? Or is it coming through the TV with the sound from the game? Sounds like something is shorting in the PSU brick - if so it will eventually stop working. Contact nintendo if under warranty still or source a replacement PSU on ebay etc.

SOURCE: loud fan noise
i had the same problem once make sure that the ps3 is not on a carpet, or move it to a hard suface and a more ventilated area,, that is probably the best solution since the ps3 requires alot of cooling down.

You CAN fix the problem yourself with some patience and special screw driver called a tri-wing.
There are a ton of tutorials and youtube videos to help with the process. Should take you about a solid hour from start to finish.
OR you can probably find someone who fixes Wii's on Criagslist to fix it for 20. That's what I'd charge ;)

Testimonial: "solid feedback"
Sounds like something is stuck inside of your Wii's DVD Drive... someone may have stuck something in the slot? Coins? credit card? paper? Etc... sounds like this is preventing the disc from being read properly. Either this, or something inside of the drive has become broken.
The following website sells the DVD drive mechanisms and does repairs on the Wii as well:
