SOURCE: Morning I have a Stoves EFA600H

The electronic clock/timer must work correctly and be in manual mode for the oven to work. It sounds as if you need to replace the electronic clock. If you do not need the clock function it is fairly easy to bypass the clock altogether and the oven will work no problem.

Electrolux Icon Wall oven off, wakes, beeps once as waking and goes back to clock after a couple of minutes? Whats up with it ?

Probably the clock and/or control board could be failing at random. The erratic oven start-up could present a safety hazard.

What part do I replace?

First, make sure the oven is connected to a grounded outlet, and that the outlet is actually grounded. If that checks out, you probably have a failure of the control panel. If it's an expensive oven, it might be worth repairing; depending on its age. Over 5 years old, I'd replace it.

Hi I have a Samsung ceramic hob that when I have the oven on and cooking veg in saucepans it cuts out randomly displaying SE flashing I'm guessing its overheating but how can I fix this ? It makes

An SE error message on the display of a Samsung ceramic hob means the control panel sensor has been on for too long.
There are a few reasons why the sensor could be saying it's been on for too long:
  • Touching the key area for more than 10 seconds.
  • Leaving a wet cloth on the touch key area.
  • Spilling a liquid on the key area.
  • By touching 2 or more keys together. All of these can be fixed by turning the hob power off at the wall, then back on again.

WHEN YOU TURN OVEN ON AND PUSH BAKE BUTTON AT 400 AND PUSH THE BAKE BUTTON AGAIN THE PANEL WILL SHOW 400 AND BEEP AS IF READY BUT OVEN NEVER HEATS UP. SOMETIMES THE DISPLAY WILL RANDOMLY FLASH DATE. ...

Hi

This means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

My oven was set to self clean. It got extremely hot and the it began beeping and flashing F1. I turned the circuit off, because I wasn't sure if it meant "Fire". So is it ok to turn the circuit...

Frigidaire's slide-in ovens feature an electronic oven controller, which serves to monitor and diagnose most electrical problems within the oven. If any of the oven's electrical systems fail, the controller will prevent the oven from functioning and will display a flashing "F" code on the oven's digital display and produce a beeping sound. To stop the beeping and clear the display, press the "STOP/CLEAR" button on the oven's control panel. Many times, the problem can be remedied by simply resetting the oven's controls. First, turn all of the oven's control knobs to the "Off" position, then allow the oven to cool to room temperature. If, after turning the oven on again, the "F" code still displays on the digital display, contact Frigidaire, as the wiring is likely to be defective.

Random beeps, oven almost starts itself

The touch pad may be defective. There is a membrane behind the buttons that will cause problems like that. The only cure is to replace the touch assy.
