Question about Samsung SyncMaster 17" TFT LCD Monitor
Turn the monitor on, turn the PC on and anything else you have attached that sends a video signal to the monitor.
Now take a bright light and shine it into the screen from an angle downwards from the top.
If you can see any images on the screen then your inverter has failed.
This can be repaired by a TV shop for a reasonable fee, but call around first, and also make sure they do actually service LCD monitors.
