Click on Drivers in the list on the right side.
(Compatible Options, Compatible Services, Drivers, .......)

Go to the bottom of the listed drivers, and click on 3 for Page 3.
(Previous, 1, 2, 3, 4, Next)

Drop down to the Audio driver -
04/06/08 - Sound Driver - Realtek Semiconductor Corporation - Windows XP - 5.10.0.5247 - Worldwide

Under the last column heading - More Info - click on the red right arrow, for this driver file.

You will be taken to another page - Driver Details
In the red column to the left, and to the right of FTP - URL, click right on

sound - 20080604150020.zip

1) This is a ZIP file. A large file that is compressed. Large amounts of information can be sent more easily in ZIP file form.

It has to be 'unzipped'.

2) When a Driver file is downloaded, it HAS to be Installed, also.

Download AND Install. If not you just have a file sitting in your harddrive, doing nothing.

When you click on - sound -20080604150020.zip a small window comes up on the right;

Opening sound - 20080604150020.zip

Make SURE there is a green arrow in the small circle, to the left of -
Save File.
If not, left-click once in the empty small circle.

Now go below, and click on OK.

A small window will come up on the left.
In the heading of this small window, tells you where the file will download to.
You may wish to write it, and the file name down.

It may have Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads, in the wording.

(Using a computer with XP on it. For Vista and Win 7 one name is different. Desktop, Documents, and Downloads)

Desktop: The file will be on your desktop screen. Yellow folder icon with a zipper on it, and the file name next to it.

My Documents:
Click on Start, then My Documents.

Downloads:
Click on Start, then My Documents. DOUBLE-click on Downloads.

When you see the file name DOUBLE-click right on it.
(sound - 20080604150020.zip and 23,559 KB in size)

Go to the upper left, and left-click on - Extract all files
In the Compressed (zipped) Folders Extraction Wizard window, click on Next at the bottom.

Click on Next again, then finally on Finish.
Restart your computer.

If we are talking about wired LAN driver:

The M50 was distributed with two different adapter versions. Try both the drivers below:

Most common: Realtek Semiconductor Corporation LAN Driver

If it does not work try: LAN Driver- Marvell adapter

If we are talking about the wireless LAN adapter, there is only one option. Here the Atheros LAN driver for M50: Wireless Lan Driver.

just about all the satelite laptops by toshiba use realtek audio. try toshiba support site and download any realtek audio driver. i have used the same driver on many of them
