Motorcycle Track the track become too Flabby

The window motor and regulator are one unit. There is a known defect with this assembly. The regulator assembly cable breaks. The regulator needs replacement. This causes the window to become dislodged from track assembly.

The track is probably broken, most of them are made of a plastic material and if they become stuck will break.

Check the track closely as Ford uses these little plactic end caps for the tracks and they often come loose and can become stuck in the seat track.

no this can not cause the track to bend.Someone was trying to shut the sunroof while the motor is not working ,or when it was working there was something in the way when it was being shut and that cause the track to become bent.

Not a lot of future there for you at the moment. Suggest first and foremost you join a club, then look for motorcycle track days, where you can practice your skills, get some cred becoming known as a good rider. There are not many tracks for you to practice on.... go here for the few that are available to you.

You can soak the track pieces in almost boiling water. Heat them up for a few second until they get soft where the kink is, Straighten out the kink and then let it cool down. Straight pieces can be placed on a flat surface with a flat weight, like a book, placed on them until cool. Curved pieces can be held in place then run under cold water. You might have to do it several times to get the right angle so that the kink is smoothed out. Be careful not to distort the track to much. A blow dryer can also work, but tends to wrap the track if held in one place too long.

There should be stopers at the end of the track to prevent it from becoming overextended. In the last desk that I assembled I think they looked like little pegs that were placed at the front part of the track.
